Welcome to Andy’s Records Vinyl Listening Club!
Each month we will gather to listen to and dissect a selected vinyl album with a group of like-minded music lovers over snacks and drinks (BYOB). We encourage you to listen in any way you can ahead of the meeting and be prepared to participate in a casual discussion about the album. We will also have a limited number of copies available on vinyl for purchase (if anyone would like to preorder a copy please let me know and we can make sure to get extras). Your $10 ticket will include admission, snacks, swag, exclusive shopping and a raffle ticket for a drawing we will do that evening (the raffle winner also gets to pick our next album if they want to!).
This month’s selsection is The Midnight Organ Fight by Frightened Rabbit! Released in 2008, it’s the second studio album from the Scotish indie-rock band. The album received widespread critical acclaim upon it’s release with praise often centered on the writing, honest lyricism, and passionate delivery of the band. The album has continued to receive recognition long after its release and has been featured on various year- and decade-end critic lists.
