Welcome to Andy’s Records Vinyl Listening Club!

Each month we will gather to listen to and dissect a selected vinyl album with a group of like-minded music lovers over snacks and drinks (BYOB). We encourage you to listen in any way you can ahead of the meeting and be prepared to participate in a casual discussion about the album. Your $10 ticket will include admission, snacks, exclusive shopping and a raffle ticket for a drawing we will do that evening (the raffle winner also gets to pick our next album if they want to!).

This month marks the 1 year anniversary of our little club and the album selection is… It’s a Wonderful Life by Sparklehorse! Released in 2001, it’s the third studio album from the Mark Linkous led project and represents the first time that Linkous didn’t play/produce by himself in his home studio. The album was co-produced by Dave Fridmann and John Parish and features guest apperances from both Fridmann and Parish as well as Tom Waits, PJ Harvey, Vic Chesnutt and Nina Persson. I absolutely LOVE this album and can’t wait to listen to it with all of you!
