Meet the artist\, checkout her work and enjoy a super chill Sunday with us! \n \nABOUT THE ARTIST: \nPeyton Rack is a local artist from Virginia Beach\, and a graduate of SAIC. Peyton’s work has been exhibited internationally\, and some highlights include Supermarket 2014 in Stockholm and Zhou B Art Center in Chicago. She had a solo show in Manhattan\nin 2018 and is a recipient of the Nippon Steel Presidential Award. Additionally\, she is a professional graphic designer for United Way of Lake County\, and is proud to be serving the community through her work there.\n\n“My practice combines oil painting and collage to create windows into other worlds. Using found photos\, microscope-inspired\nforms\, and imagery from lucid dreams\, I build surreal\, ghostlike compositions guided by intuition and patterns. By removing\ncontext\, I allow unexpected relationships to emerge\, creating visual artifacts of universes that exist between memory\, time\, and the subconscious.”\n—\nPeyton Rack

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Andy’s Records Vinyl Listening Club! \nEach month we will gather to listen to and dissect a selected vinyl album with a group of like-minded music lovers over snacks and drinks (BYOB). We encourage you to listen in any way you can ahead of the meeting and be prepared to participate in a casual discussion about the album. Your $10 ticket will include admission\, snacks\, exclusive shopping and a raffle ticket for a drawing we will do that evening (the raffle winner also gets to pick our next album if they want to!). \nThis month’s selection is… Bleeds by Wednesday! Released in 2025\, Bleeds is the sixth studio album by the Ashville based indie-rockers. It is the first album with new bass player Ethan Baechtold who joined the band in 2023.
