DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Andy’s Records Vinyl Listening Club! \nEach month we will gather to listen to and dissect a selected vinyl album with a group of like-minded music lovers over snacks and drinks (BYOB). We encourage you to listen in any way you can ahead of the meeting and be prepared to participate in a casual discussion about the album. We will also have a limited number of copies available on vinyl for purchase (if anyone would like to preorder a copy please let me know and we can make sure to get extras). Your $10 ticket will include admission\, snacks\, swag\, exclusive shopping and a raffle ticket for a drawing we will do that evening (the raffle winner also gets to pick our next album if they want to!). \nThis month’s selsection is The Flying Club Cup by Beirut! Released in 2007\, it is the 2nd studio album from the Balkin influenced indie-folk group though the music on this album has a French influence due to singer Zach Condon’s interest in French chanson during its recording. We’re VERY excited to listen to this one with you so sign up now!
